What makes this programme unique?
Your programme is based on YOUR blood test results. Nothing is more unique than you!

Why should I be on this programme, rather than going to a dietician?
FAT LOSS LAB is unique, in that we don’t focus solely on weight loss. We are specialists in nutrition, fertility, hormonal balancing and anti ageing.

What do your services include?
Blood test analysis is done by our doctors and your weight loss regime is created just for you. We prepare your individual weight management regime to ensure your weight stays off. You will get 6 months support from a registered agent as well as your supplements for the first month, a recipe book and a Beat The Bulge e-book, which examines the emotions behind over-eating.

Is this a high protein regime?
No. The treatment draws food from all food groups and is a balanced eating plan.

How would I know if the medication(s) I am taking or a medical condition I may have, will influence my diet programme?
We outline the medications you may take and we request information on the medical conditions you have. Our doctors combine this information with your blood test results to create a suitable programme for you alone. Please note our programme is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult your GP if you are unsure.

Why are blood tests necessary?
The blood tests allow us to analyse certain aspects of your system, which in turn indicates what is required to balance your body’s hormones.

There are so many “diets” and programmes available today… why should this be the one I choose?
In most cases, the clients who come to us have already tried everything else! You are free to choose, however the thousands of successful customers we have helped over the past 20 years will tell you FAT LOSS LAB is safe and extremely successful. WE balance your hormones creating a natural chemical balance that BURNS fat

Can I give my programme to my family or friends to follow?
Your unique weight loss regime will not “trigger” another person’s body into correcting its imbalance… it may even cause greater imbalance and illness! In some cases of “copying”, people initially lost weight, but regained it very rapidly at the end of the regime, because the treatment was not designed for them.

How long will I have to be on the regime?
This will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, your blood profile, your age, your gender, and the amount of weight you have to lose. The average time spent on the programme is between 2 and 4 months with an average weight loss of 7-10kgs per month.

Will I be able to live normally again without constant dieting for the rest of my life?
The final stage of our programme is the Weight Management Regime. This stage occurs at the end of your programme when your body has achieved its “balance”. You will be given healthy lifestyle guidelines to prevent you re-entering the cycle of “obesity syndrome” again.

Will I feel constantly hungry on the Weight Loss Regime?
The first 2-3 days on the Weight Loss Regime may be the most difficult and challenging. It is normal to experience hunger pains and cravings, but these should subside after about 3-4 days once the Human Growth Hormone is triggered.

What about headaches and nausea?
You may also experience headaches and nausea, even diarrhoea. It is perfectly normal as your body is going through a process of detoxification and hormonal re-balancing. This should subside after 3-4 days. In severe cases, you may take painkillers to alleviate the pain and discomfort.

Will I experience any constipation?
In the unlikely event you become constipated, you may take herbal laxatives such as Senokot, Black Forest Tea or Agiolax. Avoid laxatives containing fruit or vegetable extracts. Bowel movement twice a week is sufficient on the Weight Loss Regime, due to the fact your intake (particularly of starch) has been dramatically reduced. If you are still concerned about constipation, you may take 2 teaspoons of digestive bran for the first 3 days, and on the 4th day switch to Senokot.

Should I donate blood while on the Weight Loss Regime?
No. If you do you will experience a rapid drop in blood pressure. It is best to wait until after you have completed the entire regime, including the weight management regime, before becoming a donor again.

What will happen to me if I suffer from high blood pressure?
You will be fine. Your blood pressure normalises very quickly on the Weight Loss Regime. You may notice that after a couple of weeks you begin to feel tired and light-headed. This is completely normal. It is a sign that your blood pressure has normalised. It is advised that you see your doctor at this point, in order to re-assess your need for your high blood pressure medication.

What about low blood pressure?
In most cases, blood pressure should normalise on our programme. However, some types of low blood pressure may persist. If you notice after the first week on the Weight Loss Regime, you continue to experience constant fatigue and light-headedness, please call your doctor for advice.

If I get sick while on the Weight Loss Regime, what medication can I take?
Make sure you do not take any medication containing caffeine, sugar or alcohol. Look for sugar- and alcohol-free varieties of cough mixtures and throat lozenges, Also avoid flavoured fizzy preparations or homeopathic remedies in liquid form, as these often have a high alcohol content.

Should I exercise while on the Weight Loss Regime?
If you do not already participate in a regular exercise routine, it is not advisable to start exercising while you are on the Weight Loss Regime. It will only trigger hunger and low energy levels. If you do exercise already, you may continue with your regular routine. Your body should be able to cope, and you may in fact, experience increased energy levels.

Are there any other side effects I can expect?
Significant FAT LOSS! Remember, it is vital to follow the Weight Loss Regime accurately and precisely, so you see dramatic results.
